Historic Hawes Farms a real working farm. Our activities are all outdoors, as you would expect for a farm! Due to weather and other unforeseen circumstances, all of the farm attractions may not be available at the time of your visit. However, we’ll do our best to make sure you have a great time … and make Hawes your fall family tradition!
We have portable toilet facilities (including handicapped) with a wash area.
We accept VISA, MasterCard, Discover Card, checks, and cash.
No dogs please!
Dogs and other pets will have to stay home. Sadly they are not allowed to visit Hawes Farms. The only exception is for service dogs on a leash. These dogs should be checked in at the gate so we can note their presence.
Extreme unforeseen weather can force us to close at any time. If you are in doubt about the weather conditions at the MAZE, please call 530-365-8488 before coming to the farm, or check the website for up-to-date open/closing information.
Dress as if you are going camping. Sensible walking shoes — we do not recommend sandals or flip-flops. Remember that you will be on a farm, so dress appropriately for the best experience. You will be walking on dirt paths, so if it has rained you might want to consider wearing boots.
Keep in mind that Saturday and Sunday are our busiest times. If you want a smaller crowd, we recommend visiting on Thursday or Friday evenings, or arriving at opening time on Saturday and Sunday.
